Stabilization Project

Otselic River, Cincinnatus, New York

The project consisted of bank stabilization and gravel removal at eight separate sites on the river to control erosion.  Engineering services were provided for the project as follows:  
   

• Cross Section Survey                        

• Part-time Construction Observation  

• Preliminary Evaluation and Design

• Bidding Assistance 

• Final Design and Specifications 

• Coordination with Town, County, DOT, DEC, ACOE, SEMO & FEMA

• Construction Administration

The major components of this project included the following:

• Site Survey and Evaluation

• Damage Survey Report (DSR)

• Bank Stabilization and Restoration

• Dewatering and Water Quality Management

• Erosion and Sediment Control
