At Lamont Engineers, we're not always all work and no play. Lamont Engineers sponsors a number of activities for employees and their families throughout the year including participating in the FAM 5k Run/Walk, social gatherings, as well as hosting recreational events such as bowling, golf, softball, go-karts, and miniature golf. Members of our staff have also mentored local middle school students in the Future City Competition.
For the past two years, Lamont Engineers' staff has headed down the street to our local Little League field to swing it out in our annual slow pitch softball game. We are far from professionals on the field, but sure have fun giving it a try! Followed by some snacks at a nearby sports club or pizzeria and it makes for a perfect fall evening.
At Lamont Engineers, we like to blow off some steam out on the race-track. Each year we hold a family fun day which is an evening filled with a private hour at the go-kart track, miniature golf, driving range, 9 hole par 3 course, and a cookout. Topped off of course with a delicious ice cream.
Lamont Engineers' staff and family boarded the Erie Canal Cruises tour boat in Herkimer for a scenic tour of historic Erie Canal. Following the cruise there was shopping and dining at Gems Along the Mohawk.
Lamont Engineers' staff and family hit the lanes for a break from those winter blues at the Cobleskill Bowling Alley.
