 Replacement of Septic System, Prattsville, New York

This project consisted of inspection of existing residential and residential/commercial sewage disposal systems and design of replacement disposal systems determined to be failing within the West Of Hudson New York City Watersheds. Project scope included Property Owner interviews, inspection of existing systems and components, evaluation of site/space constraints, design of replacement system(s), Construction Observations and Project Management. Engineering services were provided for the following phases of the project:

• Preliminary Site investigations                            

• Coordination with NYCDEP 

• Property Owner Interviews & Contracts

• Limited Topographic Survey(s)

• Project Design Development & Public Bidding

• Construction Observation

• Building Sewer Evaluations / Replacement

• Evaluation of Existing Fixtures (Determine if Low-Flow)

• Replacement Pre-cast Concrete Septic Tank(s)

• Effluent Piping and Pump Stations

• Distribution System - i.e. Distr. Box / Manifold

• Conventional & Alternative Design Leach Fields 

• Construction Observation & Administration
